Cowgirl Chocolates - A Spicy Spin on Chocolate! Review and Giveaway

Two of my favorite flavors are chocolate and spice, so I was thrilled when I was given the opportunity to try Cowgirl Chocolates.  I received a beautiful gift box, which had  a mixture of the spicy and mild truffles, along with a habanero caramel.  The box itself is too cute, perfect for gift giving!  The red gift box is wrapped with a black ribbon and a cute little star button. 

The habanero caramel was extremely spicy, but delicious!  I took a bite, drank some water, then went in for another bite.  I think I probably could have eaten these all day!  The spicy raspberry dark chocolate was one of the many delicious truffles.  Spicy dark chocolate surrounds a cool raspberry center.  My favorite mild chocolate variety was the Ivory Orange.  I loved the subtle orange flavors throughout the chocolate!  If you like coffee, you’ll love the Spicy Cappuccino Truffle, with a spicy dark chocolate outside and a creamy milk chocolate/espresso filling. 

The truffles are color coded with their wrappers, so it’s easy to pick out your favorite, just refer to the handy flavor guide.  And they have so many amazing flavors to choose from!  I’d love to try the Spicy Cinnamon Honey Dark, and the Spicy Caramel Dessert Sauce sounds divine.  If truffles aren't your thing, there are so many other things to choose from - caramels, chocolate bars, cocoa, and more.

Marilyn Lysohir, the founder of Cowgirl Chocolates started her business in 1995.  Like any good business, she started in her own kitchen.  Her innovative spicy chocolates started winning awards, and in 2005 she was able to open a business in Idaho.  I think anyone who likes a little kick to their foods would enjoy this chocolate!
