There are a lot of products that do need to be spent on and there are times when you need to save too. If you have good hair or good skin, you need to splurge a great deal of money on the best products so that your hair and skin doesn’t get damaged. But when it comes to expensive mobile phones that don’t need to be bought, you need to save your money there. There are certain things where people love to splurge their money and there are certain products where they save their money on.
What do people love to splurge on?
The money people spend depends on their interest. If they have a knack for something, they usually spend a great deal of money on those things. Whether or not they should spend their money on them comes much later. Take a look at the things people splurge their money on:

1. Food

There are a lot of people who love to eat. This makes them spend money on every kind f food they get. If any new eating joints or restaurants open in an area, they usually love to spend their money on trying new dishes. Many people go to different places just to eat good food and have the best quality drinks. This way they don’t mind spending their money on food and drinks. Sometimes, they even save a percentage of money every month to be spent on eating from expensive restaurants. This is one of the things people do splurge their money on. 

2. Clothes

There are a lot of people who just love trying out new outfits and buy them for different occasion. They have a fetish for good clothes and spend a great deal of money on them. These form a part of their luxurious life. Sometimes they do buy branded clothes and sometimes go for the local market. Here too, they keep aside an amount of money every month to spend on clothes. This way, people who love shopping for clothes, splurge quite a lot of money on these items. 

3. Cosmetics

These are the things where men and women alike love to splurge their money on. There are quite a lot of costly cosmetic products where most of the women love to spend their money on to get flawless skin and lustrous hair. They believe that if they use costly products, they’ll have beautiful hair and skin. People who have fetish for skincare and hair products may get them from local stores too. They just love to indulge in these products and it makes them feel satisfied. 

Where do people save their money?
When people splurge their money, they also have certain saving strategies. They try to save money on certain things so that they can have the money to splurge on the items they love to shop for. Check out the places and things they save their money:

1. Insurance policies

This is one of the things that need a lot of attention. But most of the people try to save money on them by paying very high deductibles so that they may have to pay less on their premiums. This is one of the ways everyone can get cheap insurance policies and get covered whenever needs arise. If you want to save your money on your auto insurance policy, you can use safety products such as air bags and anti-theft devices to get discounts on your premium payments. This way you save your money on these items so that you can splurge your money on things you love. 

2. Electronic items

This is one of the things most of the people love to save their money on. If you have a television, a refrigerator, an air conditioner, you may not need any more of these items. You can buy good electronic products once or twice in your life and they can be used for a longer period of time. Most of the people save money on cell phones by having just one phone and not more than that. 

There are a lot of people who do love to splurge their money on travel and good living, while many people have a love for jewelry shopping. So, it all depends on the mentality of the people and their interests.
